Prize Winning Iris

My watercolor painting "Iris #2" won an Honorable Mention in the Fairborn Art Association's Members' Choice contest at the May meeting. Given the quality of the paintings that were submitted by the members, this was a real ego boost for me.

    Susan, I see a lot of watercolor flower paintings, and am bored by most of them. This is outstanding if you ask me. The colors, the detail, the cool loose background. Very Nice.

      Thanks, Mike. That means a lot, especially coming from a guy! The original is on display at my show at the Fairborn Art Association.
